WHEN Mohau Louis went to rehab, he didn’t have anything to his name.
He lived on the street and asked for money from motorists.
Now, Alostro will be doing something different in his life.
The 33-year-old has been in rehabilitation for three months and has learned different skills.
Alostro became popular during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when a TV reporter interviewed homeless people. Alostro butchered English in a funny manner, causing people to end up calling him Alostro.

Ever since motorists have taken videos of him speaking in his funny language and sharing daily butchered news about current affairs.
In January, he was taken to rehab by a popular DJ Karabo Mokgara, known as DJ Karri, and so far, his life has changed.
Many social media users have been complaining and asking what will happen to him when he gets out of rehab.
Others said he needed a job that would help him.
Daily Sun spoke to the owner of the Limpopo Anti-Drugs Gangsterism and Crime, Victor Makhura, who said Alostro was doing well.
“He is too well, no complaints,” he said.
He said they trained him and other recovering addicts to do different things.
“They don’t just cook; they develop skills like cooking and more,” he said.
He said that they equipped them with skills so they could make a living after rehab.
“This is so that when they go out, they can be able to find jobs and not go back to drugs,” he said.
