Khulekani Chilli is angry about the bad treatment he received after an accident.

SONG WRITER Khulekani Chilli says he was allegedly removed from the intensive care (ICU) at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Joburg hours after he was admitted.

He was told by hospital staff that there were not enough beds available.

The musician said this happened after was involved in the accident on Sunday, 3 March.

Khulekani has since reached out to the EFF for help.

The 41-year-old told Daily Sun: "I was admitted at 9pm and discharged around 3.30am on Monday morning. I was told I had to leave the bed because it was needed by other patients.

"I was not put on a general ward. I was only told to sit on the benches and wait for my people because my clothes were torn when they took me in," he said.

The musician said the accident happened at 7pm as he was coming back from a meeting in Sandton, north of Joburg.
