THE Inaugural Pop Opera Concert will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium's People's Park in Durban, KZN on Sunday, 20 August.

This aligns with FNB's longstanding commitment to supporting the creative economy.

The musical extravaganza unites the KZN philharmonic orchestra with a stellar line-up of renowned artists including Zakes Bantwini, Good Luck, Shekinah, DJ Le Soul, and DJ Tira.

It promises an unforgettable experience that blends contemporary music and orchestra.

In partnership with East Coast Radio, the FNB Pop Opera Concert will showcase the diverse talent and creative energy that South Africa has to offer.

FNB chief marketing officer Faye Mfikwe said: "KZN is one of our country's most important economic hubs and requires our support given the challenges it has faced over the past few years. As the leading provider of integrated financial and lifestyle services, FNB encourages the KZN community to come together to enjoy the musical celebration of change and resilience."

"We've put together this musical experience to not only support the creative economy in their region, but bring together pop classics, contemporary and opera genres in a dazzling display of talent, passion, and community spirit."
