TOP musician and producer Demor Sikhosana is preparing to release his long-awaited album.
Demor, the boss of a top recording label called Demor Music who previously signed Afro-house music star Bucie Nqwiliso and Sun El Musician, said his album will be out in September 2023.
His 15-track album, Nqoba, features his hit single Konke Kuzolunga and is already in digital stores.
Demor, whose real name is Thandukwazi Sikhosana (48), told Daily Sun he has been recording music and now has many songs.
“I wish my album to have 15 tracks, but I’m still undecided because I have many songs, and I’m not sure which ones to include on my album.
“My album will feature top musicians like Zakes Bantwini, Professor and many young singers to give them a chance to showcase their talents,” he said.
Demor made his name when he was a member of an Afro-house group called Shana with Black Coffee and Shota after they studied music at Durban University of Technology (DUT).

He also made his name when he signed Bucie, and they produced many hit songs and travelled overseas.
He said he would still discover many new talents.
“Signing artists is not working now. It is better to groom them and let them start their work. I can work with them on a few things to help.
“In my new album, I have featured Wunda, Taffy, and Levuvu to groom them. Taffy and Wunda are signed to my label, but they have the freedom to do their things,” he said.
He said he wanted to release his album on his birthday on 11 July, but realised he wouldn't make it and pushed it to September.
He said that one day, Shana would be back because they didn’t disband it, but it disappeared because all of them were busy with their projects.
