DStv Delicious blesses Mzansi with Grammy winners!

THE DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is coming in hot this year

They have just announced three Grammy winners as the headliners for the 2023 festival.

American soul singer Maxwell, Nigerian singer Tems, and Mzansi's very own Zakes Banwtini were announced on Wednesday, 19 July.

The festival is celebrating a decade in a big way. This year's edition will take place on Saturday, 23 and on Sunday, 24 September at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Gauteng.

On Saturday night, Free Mind hitmaker Tems will take to the stage and then followed by the Osama hitmaker, Zakes Bantwini.  

Also on Saturday, the main stage will kick off with local DJs Oscar Mbo, Murdah Bongz and DJ Kent. Afro-soul legend Ringo Madlingozi is also part of the line-up. Then DJ Lamiez Holworthy will take over.

Two-time Grammy-winning hip-hop group, Arrested Development and fellow Grammy-winning American jazz pianist, producer and songwriter Robert Glasper, will take over from the afternoon on Saturday.

Then, on Saturday night, Free Mind hitmaker Tems will jump on stage just before Zakes Bantwini. 

Internationally-acclaimed choir, Joyous Celebration, is set to open the festival on Sunday. Then Greg The Musical Maestro and Oskido will be on the decks throughout the day.

British acid jazz act Incognito, who performed at the festival in 2014, will make a comeback.

American R&B group Shalamar has added the festival to their 40th anniversary "Friends" tour. Then, the This Woman's Work hitmaker Maxwell will bless the stage with his voice.
