BUSINESSMAN and artist ByLwansta, born Lwandile Nkanyuza, believes it isn’t just about him in the music industry.

The 28-year-old from Kokstad in KZN told Daily Sun that it helps to work with people as a team to make money.

ByLwansta, a rapper, record producer and graphic designer, takes centre stage with his latest self-produced release, Office Daze

He said drawing inspiration from his journey, he weaves a narrative of determination, obsession, and an unyielding drive to succeed in the competitive music industry.

“The track summarises the artist's commitment to putting in the hours, losing sleep, and fighting through the noise to build his brand.

"ByLwansta's lyrical prowess paints a vivid picture of the challenges faced in the pursuit of success, making Office Daze an anthem for those dedicated to realising their dreams,” he said.

ByLwansta said the song also pays homage to his roots and the spirit of entrepreneurship running in his blood.

“In the song, I reflect on my grandfather as the first entrepreneur I ever knew. Who instilled in me the values of hard work, resilience, and the courage to forge my own path."

He said the song is a sonic journey that resonates with the heartbeat of those navigating the hustle and bustle of the entrepreneurial world.

“It's about working long hours. I used to think that I was a workaholic. This song speaks about people working long hours. That is my current reality,” he said.

ByLwansta said that he likes writing about things happening in his life.
