DJ Choc is sick and tired of viruses.

The musician, producer and businessman from Vosloorus, in Ekurhuleni, whose real name is Mbuyiselo Ngwenya, released a song titled Monkey Pox this month.

He said the song talks about the pain that people all over the world are experiencing as a result of the coronavirus and monkey pox.

DJ Choc told Daily Sun these diseases have affected many people’s livelihoods, including entertainers and ordinary citizens.

The musician said he was tired of living in fear.

He wants things to fully return to normal for people to carry on with their lives.

DJ Choc said Monkey Pox is a maskandi song that speaks of the hardships that musicians faced recently during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Monkey Pox was brought to life by Mtekhala, uMaqatha and Dogzin,” DJ Choc said.

He said the song talks about the challenges of losing loved ones and employment, including the restrictions that came with both viruses.

DJ Choc said he is saddened by many people losing jobs, their lives, and some suffering the COVID19 epidemic.“We are tired of these viruses.

“Now, we are faced with monkey pox.

“We really need to go back to our normal lives,” he said.

DJ Choc said Monkey Pox is one of the tracks that will be in his upcoming album to be released at the end of this month.

Asked if he has tested positive for monkey pox, the disc jockey told Sunbuzz: the musician said he hasn’t tested positive he is just worried by those who have nothing and are battling life challenges to make end meets in these diseases.“No, I have not tested positive for the virus.

“But we have all lost someone dear to us in the past three years. So, “We must stand still and keep on praying.this urges us to keep praying because we don’t know what tomorrow holds,” he said.

“So, as we adjust to our new life in this new world let’s do it with song, words of encouragement and a beautiful melody,” DJ Choc said.

The musician who has been in the industry for 30 years said he just pray every one makes it out of these viruses.
