Peterson's engagement video was shared on Instagram with the keeper receiving congratulatory messages from his ex-teammates at the Glamour Boys.

Peterson gets engaged!
The 27-year-old keeper, who was last on the books at Maritzburg United, is ready for a life-changing milestone after getting engaged to Cidney Adams.
In what appeared to be a remote location, Petersen set up a special surprise for his love by setting up a classy picnic with champagne, a bouquet of flowers, candles and 3D printed letters that read: 'Marry Me' waiting on the scene.
A video of stills was shared on IG by the couple with the future Mrs Petersen seen getting emotional when the lanky baller popped the question.

Petersen's former teammates at Chiefs, Happy Mashiane, Ryan Moon and Ramahlwe Mphahlele all congratulated the couple on their first phase of this major personal milestone, with Bruce Bvuma's wife Ntswaki sharing a supportive message in the comments after she helped with the set-up:
"Congratulations guys, may God continue to bless y'all. Love you guys so much."
