Golden Arrows star Gladwin Shitolo has one of the most rapid cars in the DStv Premiership, with his sporty Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI able to go from 0-100km/h in just 6.4 seconds. Here's a look.
The story
It is widely known that most people who opted for the Golf 7 GTI are attracted to the car's insane performance capabilities. While the design is arguably just as mouth-watering thanks to its elegant yet streetracer-esque chassis, one cannot get past the fact that it is a performance marvel for any driver who loves sheer adrenaline.
Perhaps, that's what is more surprising about the owner, Shitolo, who seems to be a reserved and overly calm-spirited individual. For a character like him, it would be easier to imagine him in a less conspicuous car, but rather in a classy executive car, perhaps an SUV even.
Nevertheless, the Abafana Besthende baller made an excellent choice when he bought the vehicle, given that it is highly thought of in the South African motoring scene.

A top-seller in its class, the hatchback is not just about frugal efficiency, it is also a visual marvel, which boasts stunning 19-inch Santiago alloy wheels, a low base which ensures maximum grip on the road, as well as that distinct red line running across the front grille - giving the design an extra layer of detail.
According to various trusted car outlets, this ride has an Adaptive Chassis Control, which is a feature that allows the former Orlando Pirates deep-lying playmaker to choose different driving modes, including Comfort and Sport. Inside it also comes with a standard 8-inch infotainment touch screen among it's other innovative interior features.
