Following a disappointing trip to DR Congo last week, Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize has revealed that she and her family decided to fly out to Dubai to get over the hostile environment she was subjected to in Lubumbashi. Here's a look!

The story

Mkhize was left very disgruntled last week in Congo as her side were beaten 2-0 in their first-leg clash against giants TP Mazembe. The AM boss was incensed by the hostility that she and her boys were subjected.

"I have never ever seen something like this in my entire life," she said on Instagram. "South Africa is such a good country [but] what I have seen today, people getting into the stadium, match commissioner is saying nothing, doing their own thing, interrogating my goalkeeper.

"But anyway, I will tell you all about it. Right now I am under stress, I am glad we are back home and safe, But what I have seen today..."

However, she quickly put that in the past as she jetted off of the lush United Arab Emirates city of Dubai with her family including club chairman Andile Mpisane and AM Ladies vice-chairlady Tamia Mpisane.

Her side were eventually knocked out by Mazembe on Wednesday in the return leg following a 1-0 defeat at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

Dubai does not only boast the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, but it is also home to the largest mall in the world, the Dubai Mall.
