Manchester City star Jack Grealish is getting quite familiar with smashing financial records, as he has now signed the most lucrative sponsorship deal in British history. Here's a look!
The story
Earlier this week, sports apparel brand PUMA announced Grealish as their newest ambassador in a mega endorsement deal after the player parted ways with Nike.
According to talkSPORT, the partnership could see him earn up to £10 million (R220 million) per season until 2028. It is believed that Nike tried to keep hold of the Englishman, as he had been their client since he was a teenager, but the brand was unable to match the finances due to their huge portfolio of stars.

PUMA swooped in and offered the former Aston Villa captain a bespoke package, which puts him alongside big-names like Neymar and City boss Pep Guardiola.
The deal has reportedly set a British record, as it is more lucrative than previous top-earners Gareth Bale and Harry Kane who both earned around £3 million (R66 million) per season through large boot contracts.

The 27-year-old already boasts a deal with high-end Italian label Gucci and famous audio electronics brand Bose, with PUMA now joining his profitable sponsorship collection.
It appears that the winger is making a habit of breaking fiscal records, as he remains the Citizens' most expensive player in history and previously held the title of the most expensive transfer in England before being recently eclipsed by Enzo Fernandes when he joined Chelsea in January.
