SuperSport United striker Thamsanqa Gabuza and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali boast an inspiring friendship, which the pair playing on swings together and even seemingly driving each other's cars. Here's a look!
The story
The former Orlando Pirates duo most likely became really good friends during their days in Soweto and although they have since never played with each other again, their bond seems to have grown stronger.
A few months ago Gabuza was spotted in the driving seat of Jali's red Ford convertible, although we cannot confirm if he had actually taken it for a spin. More recently, the pair got together this weekend as pictures on the Downs playmaker's official Instagram account show them relaxing in the comfort of one of their homes.

It is indeed lovely to see their wonderful bromance despite playing for city rivals. It looks like the Pretoria rivalry has not created any sort of tension between the two stars and it would be really interesting to know how their conversations go when their sides come up against each other in a derby.

Football matters
Although a little separates the duo off the pitch, Jali's side maintains a comfortable lead on top of the DStv Premiership table, while Matsatsantsa are seven points adrift from Brazilians. The two teams have scored the most amount of goals in the division, with Masandawana netting 24 times, while SuperSport have scored on 17 occasions.
