With Sekhukhune United captain Linda Mntambo boasting custom-made jewellery, the jeweller behind the player's new piece has revealed the inspiration behind the wonderful necklace. Here's a look.
The story
Jeweller Nev Sher, who commonly goes by 'The Diamond Guy', revealed that the stunning neckpiece he was commissioned to design for Mntambo is purely inspired by the player's sense of Ubuntu.
"We rise by lifting others," Sher said on his official Instagram account. "I was commissioned by Linda, to create and design a unique piece that expresses his philosophy on life, which is helping others.
"The diamond and gold pendant symbolises people's ability to helping one another to rise and overcome adversity. Rock your piece with pride!"

The glittering gem, which has the former Orlando Pirates star's initials, depicts one individual lending a helping hand to another. The necklace appears to be made of gold as well as diamonds, and it was the 32-year-old confirmed that it was actually a gift from him to himself.
The ex-Jomo Cosmos playmaker also confirmed on Instagram that his charitable nature was in fact what motivator behind his precious item.
"This year I wanted to gift myself with a neck piece that resembles my calling or should I say my purpose in life, which is to lend a hand, assist where I can, and help create opportunities for the less fortunate. I believe in lifting others as we rise.
"I decided to go the best man when it comes to diamonds, The Diamond Guy, and boy oh boy did he not do an amazing job?
"Thank you The Diamond Guy, [I] will definitely be wearing this neck piece to all the work I will be doing through the Linda Mntambo Foundation and every time I need inspiration."
