Grammy award-winning singer Faith Evans was reportedly arrested last week after allegedly stabbing her music producer husband Stevie J.

According to TMZ, police were called to the couple’s home in Los Angeles at around 1am, where Faith and her husband were having a heated argument that turned violent. They allegedly arrested the singer for domestic violence but released her on the same day.
Speaking to the publication, sources said they noticed “visible marks and scratches” on Stevie J’s face when the police arrived.
The pair tied the knot in July 2018 and had been longtime friends before dating. However, their two-year marriage has had its fair share of drama. Last year the relationship showed signs of trouble when they unfollowed each other on Instagram and posted a series of cryptic tweets.
They later downplayed rumours of their seemingly troubled marriage and started following each other again.
Faith was previously married to late rapper Notorious B.I.G. and music executive Todd Russaw, whom she divorced in 2011 after more than a decade of marriage.
