Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather’s 19-year-old daughter, Iyanna, was reportedly arrested for aggravated assault over the weekend. Speaking to TMZ, police sources revealed that Iyanna’s bae, rapper NBA YoungBoy, was at home with a woman named Lapattra Lashai Jacobs when Iyanna arrived and attacked Lapattra.
The publication reports that the altercation started when Iyanna told Lapattra she was YoungBoy’s fiancée and asked her to leave the house. The argument then moved to the kitchen where Iyanna allegedly grabbed two knives and charged at the other woman, stabbing her twice.
According to court documents seen by NBC News, Iyanna was taken to a jail in Harris County, Texas, at around 1.30am after 25-year-old Lapattra was stabbed and hospitalised. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and underwent surgery at the hospital.
The publication also reports that Iyanna was released on $30 000 (about R565 000) bail.
Since her release, she has reportedly appeared in an Instagram Live video posted by NBA YoungBoy which he made in response to comments directed at him by rival rapper Kodak Black. In the video he refers to Iyanna as his wife.
