RISE Mzansi, which was founded in April 2023, became the first political party to launch their 2024 general election manifesto.
They launched their manifesto at Heartfelt Arena in Tshwane on Saturday, 20 January, which was attended by thousands of their supporters.
The leadership of the party was seated among ordinary people, which is rare in the political space and one couldn’t even tell who the leader was.
Rise Mzansi leader, Songezo Zibi said his first priority will be to make sure there is enough food as many South Africans are hungry and don’t have land to plant their own food.
As political parties such as EFF, ANC and IFP will use the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban to launch their manifestos, IFP was the first party to inspect the stadium on Saturday, 20 January.
Led by its national campaign committee chairman, Narend Singh, IFP said they are ready to host their manifesto in a gigantic stadium with a 55 000 person capacity.
EFF will launch their manifesto at the stadium on Saturday, 10 February while the ANC will launch their manifesto on Saturday, 24 February.
In other news, King Misuzulu congratulated pupils who passed their matric exams.

On Sunday morning, 21 January, Mzansi was over the moon after professional mixed martial artist, Dricus du Plessis represented the country well and became the first South African to win the United Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight title, dethroning the controversial American mixed martial artist, Sean Strickland.
Mzansi people including the Minister for Sport, Arts and Culture, Zizi Kodwa congratulated Du Plessis.
Late gospel musician and songwriter, Dr Kenny Makweng was laid to rest in Digwale in Limpopo on Sunday, 21 January.
