RAIN didn't prevent this foundation from showing homeless people in Tshwane some love on Christmas Day.
The Da Klan and Bros Do Matter Foundation prepared Christmas food to the homeless in the Pretoria CBD on Monday, 25 December 2023.
According to Emma Sibanyoni from the foundation, they have been feeding the homeless for the past four years. She said the motivation came in 2020 after the death of her husband, Phineas Mokhulu Sibanyoni, who was the founder of the Da Klan foundation that gave birth to Bros Do Matter.
She said her husband was a very giving person and was a father to a lot of people.
"We got married on Christmas Day. After his passing, I wanted to honour his memory as a giving person.
"I told myself that I will celebrate my anniversary with the homeless to make their Christmas Day special," she said.
"This fulfils my heart, and it reminds me who he was. He taught me not to judge others. After the outreach, I feel happy," she said.

Emma said rain was a blessing during the initiative.
She said the challenge is that whenever she starts giving, the number increases.
"I wish there was a shelter so that I could take care and feed them properly. Also, I would also ensure that they take a bath and their closed are washed regularly."
She said she has fed 182 people.
"Looking at the men enjoying the meal, it fulfils my heart.
Emma said she had to drive around the city to get them where they were sleeping.
She's appealing for help with the non-perishable food, clothes, blankets and funds. Emma said that during winter, she prepares soup for the homeless and donate blankets to them.
A homeless man said: "Thank you for the food and giving us Christmas. May God bless you," said the homeless.
Emma added that Bros Do Matter embraces boy child and good man.
"We try to enlighten society about boys and men. We also want addicts to stop drugs and come back to society."
