Suspects bust minutes after attack!

THREE murder suspects are expected to appear in court soon.

This after they were arrested for murder and attempted murder a few minutes after allegedly stabbing a young man (21) to death and injuring the man’s father.

Police spokesman Colonel Robert Netshiunda said a swift response by the cops led to the arrests of three suspects.

He said the incident happened at South Beach in Durban, KZN, on Saturday.

He said it is reported that the victim told his father he was assaulted by a group of young men and together with his dad, they reportedly approached the suspects.

“During the confrontation, three suspects allegedly produced knives and stabbed the son multiple times and he was certified dead at the scene. The 46-year-old father was also reported to have sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to hospital for immediate medical attention,” he said.

He said the police who were deployed in the area responded swiftly to the incident and arrested the three suspects along South Beach.

The trio will appear in court soon on charges of murder and attempted murder.
