THE African National Congress (ANC) in North West has welcomed the return of Premier Bushy Maape following his recovery from an illness.
This comes after Maape underwent a successful orthopaedic surgery at the Klerksdorp's Wilmed Park Hospital.
The ANC provincial spokesman, Tumelo Maruping, said the premier's dedication and resilience serve to his unwavering commitment to the people of the North West.

"The ANC also extends its appreciation to acting premier Nono Maloyi for his dedicated service during Premier Maape's absence."
"His steadfast leadership and commitment have endured the continuity of governance and well-being of the province," he said.
Maloyi is the ANC provincial chairman and the MEC of co-operative governance, human settlement and traditional affairs.
Maruping said as Maape resumes his responsibility on Monday, 13 November, the ANC looks forward to continuing its healthy working relationship with him for the betterment of the province.
The ANC also thanked those who supported Maape during his recovery.
