TAXI drivers are known to be rough on the road and to their clients.
But there are those few individuals who choose to do things differently.
Noah Matlou from Limpopo is one of those individuals.
He treats his passengers with respect and drives well on the road to take them safely to their various destinations.
And this won him a trophy and a cash prize recently.
He scooped the position as the Best Male Taxi Driver of the Year.
The first position was taken by Godfrey Tloumma of the Bochum Taxi Association under Capricorn District.

The third position went to Mapudi Dondo of the Peace Taxi Association under Capricorn District.
Noah, a taxi driver from Mapela Taxi Association under Waterberg District, beat all other contestants in his region in a fiercely contested competition.
Noah said they were tested on driving, rules of the road and customer courtesy.
"It's something that's in me to treat my customers with respect, and to follow rules of the road."
Mapela Taxi Association chairman Frans Laka said they're proud of Noah's achievement.
"He put both his association and the district on the map and for that we celebrate him."
He said in 2024, they're planning to host a party in honour of Noah.
