Thendo Netshishivhe surprised his two grandmothers, Nthumeni Masindi and Tshinakaho Netshishivhe, by taking them on their dream vacation to Durban.

AS a token of appreciation, Thendo Netshishivhe from Vhufhulwi in Limpopo recently presented his two beloved gogos with an unforgettable trip.

Thendo (27) took his grandmothers, Nthumeni Masindi (91) and Tshinakaho Netshishivhe (74), on a vacation to Durban in KZN to celebrate his birthday with them.

For the two grandmothers, who gave birth to Thendo’s mother and father, the trip was a dream come true and a chance to discover new horizons and gain new experiences.

From the moment they boarded the plane, their faces lit up with joy and amazement as they experienced the thrill of flying for the very first time.

Both gogos had spent most of their lives in a village, dedicated to raising their family and contributing to their community.

Thendo's decision to take his gogos on this extraordinary adventure was driven by his desire to create lasting memories.

Gogo Masindi told Daily Sun that they thoroughly enjoyed the trip and that it was a dream come true for them.

"It was the best gift for us. It showed us that we raised him well, with respect and good manners. We hope God blesses him with more life, as he has blessed us, because our dedication to raising him has borne fruit,' she said.

Thendo said the trip was the best gift for his grandmothers and for their unwavering love and support throughout his life.

"They gave me great parents, always showed me love and taught me important life lessons like respect," he said.

When he was young, his grandparents spoilt him and gave him numerous gifts.

"But the most important thing they gave me was their love and guidance, so I wanted to show them how much I appreciate them for that," he said.
