ANGEL Nkomo believes she’s stylish, loud and a gorgeous stufuza who loves people.
The Afro-pop musician said it's very hard to be an independent artist in the industry because everything needs financial backup.
Angel started off as a freelance gospel backup singer in 2013 to 2016. Some of the artists she backed up are Sechaba and Luvhuwo Matumba.
She's known for her songs Lengoma, Inhlitiyo, Sondzela, Shona malanga, Ngikutfwekhele, and the album Sikhanyisele featuring Passion Master in 2022.

The 30-year-old from Barberton in Mpumalanga said the music business is not about talent but who you know and how you look.
"It's hard because I’ve faced body shaming along the way on the socials," she said.
Angel said she grew up listening to soothing music of Brenda Fassie, Miriam Makeba and others which exposed her to African jazz.
She said the music industry is full of politics and a lot of divisions.
“There are people who always love to see my downfall. My music really touches people and at the same time they're enjoying it," she said.
Angel said she'll be releasing her album Makhonjwa on Friday, 26 April, and hopes it gives her a big break.
