The body of a woman who drowned in Sunninghill, Joburg has still not been found.
The search of a missing woman who was swept away by a flash flood while driving on Friday, 12 January in Sunninghill, continued on Monday, 15 January.
The taxi drivers operating near the bridge where the woman was swept away told Daily Sun the incident shocked them.

A taximan said: “I wasn't here when everything happened. I went to drop off passengers but I’m told that things turned deadly.
"I don’t know what she was thinking when crossing the bridge, since there's a sign warning people about the flash floods on the bridge. It’s very visible and we know that once it rains, we don't use it until the water levels go down,” he said.
He said they were used to seeing water overflow in the bridge but have never witnessed anyone drowning there, nor witnessed a car being swept away.
This morning, the team started their search in Sunninghill where the incident initially occurred.
The EMS Search and Rescue team in collaboration with SAPS and other private entities searched Juskei River during the weekend. The search teams were divided into three groups, and focused on Dainfern, Steyn City and Monoghan farm.
EMS Media and Liaison Officer, Xolile Khumalo said that no recovery has been made so far.
“EMS continues to urge the residents of Joburg to remain alert as thunderstorms continue this week. Residents must be careful and stay safe during these rainy periods,” she said.
Khumalo said that the search has been called off for today. This after the team covered a distance of about 36km, ending the search in Sunninghill prison.
“The search will resume in Sunninghill prison on Tuesday morning at 8am,” she said.
