AN unknown body has been found in an open veld next to the R41 road in Randfontein, West Rand.
Randfontein police spokeswoman Sergeant Carmen Hendricks said at around 9.30am on Thursday, 30 November, cops received a complaint about a body that was lying in an open veld next to the road.
“The unknown body of a man was found lying on his stomach. He was wearing a black jersey, light-blue skinny jeans and a beanie,” said Hendricks.

She added that emergency medical services were called and paramedics certified the body dead.
