Help cops trace murder suspects!

POLICE in Gqeberha have launched a manhunt after two people were shot dead and three injured in Mqhaba Street in KwaNobuhle on Tuesday, 1 November.

According to Colonel Priscilla Naidu, it is alleged that at about 3.15pm, a driver of a Mazda 323 was offloading passengers on Mqhaba Street when two masked men approached the vehicle and fired shots.

“The driver (24) and two female passengers managed to get out and run away, however, they were shot. The two men, both aged 24, who were still in the vehicle were fatally injured. They sustained multiple gunshot wounds,” Naidu said in a statement.

She said the driver was shot in his toe while a 14-year-old teenage girl was shot in her back.

Naidu said another 31-year-old woman was shot in her buttocks.

“One of the two deceased persons was identified as Nkosiyabo Nqakula. The other deceased’s identity is yet to be established,” she said.

Naidu said all the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Provincial Organised Crime Investigation in Gqeberha are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder.
