THUGS shot a 26-year-old man from behind while he was walking on the street and took his phone before fleeing the scene.
The Delft man was shot while walking along Symphony Way in Cape Town. He died next to a graveyard on Tuesday, 1 November.
Family members of the deceased, who came to the scene, searched his pockets and found out that his money was still there but his Samsung Galaxy A02 was missing.
“We’re angry. Why didn’t they just take the phone and let him go, instead of killing him? We hope the cops will hunt the killers down and find them so that they pay for what they did,” said a family member, who asked to remain anonymous.
