NKOSI Msimang woke up disoriented, naked and confused after a wild night with four women he had met at a News Cafe in Randburg, north of Joburg in November 2020.
Nkosi, who was Prince Lethukuthula Zulu’s friend, took the stand at the South Gauteng High Court on Tuesday, 11 October.
He said the state he woke up in was not normal and he suspected being drugged, allegedly by the accused.
Tshegofatso Moremane, Gontse Tlhoele, Margaret Koaile and Portia Mmola are charged in connection with the murder of Lethukuthula, and theft.
Nkosi said the night before, he left with Thloele to get between R4 000 and R5 000 for drinks. When they arrived at the apartment, he said she flashed her punani at him.
“She was naked, and there was flirtatious kissing. She came out with the skirt still up.”

He said they went back to the restaurant, where he settled the bill.
“I asked the deceased to drive because I was not feeling well,” he said, adding that the scene was already set on who they would each be with.
He said they didn’t expect the other two to participate.
“Intimacy happened and I ended up taking Tlhoele to the room,” he said, adding that accused four also joined in.
The next day at 2pm, he was woken by his neighbour and security, and he realised the house was ransacked.
He said he went to check on Lethukuthula and found him dead, covered with a blanket.
