ENTERTAINER Zodwa Wabantu may look strong and unbothered by the negative comments about her lifestyle, but the truth is she gets hurt and emotional just like everybody else.

On Tuesday, 25 October, she had people worried about her, after she posted a video on Instagram where she thanked her best friend, gqom star Dladla Mshunqisi, and at the same time had tears running down her face.

While her fans asked what the Omunye hitmaker had done for Zodwa, some asked her if she was okay.

When contacted, Zodwa said she had a lot going on.

“I’m not going to mention them one by one. But I’m going through a lot,” said Zodwa Wabantu, whose real name is Zodwa Libram.

She said Mshunqisi was always with her and highly supportive.

“He is a true friend of mine. I trust him with everything. He has proved to be more than just my best friend, but a brother to me,” said Zodwa.

The entertainer recently answered her ancestral calling.

She said her ancestors controlled her life and the way she should live it.

“My ancestors are always with me in whatever challenge I’m going through. I respect them and they provide for me,” she said.

Mshunqisi said they supported each other as best friends.

“We understand each other. She has shown me nothing but love. I respect her for who she is and she does the same for me. It’s not about what I’ve done for her, but rather what we do for each other,” said Mshunqisi, whose real name is Anele Dladla.
