Umkhokha: The Curse actress will start 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence (GBV) by leading women in Umlazi and the Durban CBD on Saturday, 25 November.
This will happen as Mzansi embarks on the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children from Saturday, 25 November to 10 December.
Mapule, who is a founder of an organisation that fights GBV called Esigodlweni Sendlovukazi, better known as Amakhosikazi, said that women will be marching wearing their aprons to show their seriousness about GBV.
The actress, who is also a priestess, told Daily Sun that the aim of the walk is to try and come up with GBV solutions and to teach women about legal matters.
"After that we are going to Umlazi K hall, and we invite everyone who is against GBV to join us to fight this pandemic because Mzansi needs to come up with an urgent solution about GBV." she said.

She said it's not an event but a journey to fight against GBV and she invited all people from different cultures, pollical, and organisations to join her because GBV affects everyone.
