RAPPER Jub Jub, whose real name's Molemo Maarohanye, will be back in court on Tuesday, 12 March.

The 43-year-old made a brief appearance in the Joburg Magistrates Court on Monday, 5 February.

The case was postponed as his defence lawyer Terrence Ntsako Baloyi asked the court to revise the documents about his client.

"We would like to ask for an extension for my client. We can make it until March this year," he said.

Magistrate Betty Khumalo told Baloyi that as long as he was seeking for an extension, it was okay.

"We will be back again on the 12 March. He must be here on time," she said.

"The investigation has been completed a long time ago. The annexures about the charges is provided as well," she said.

Jub Jub is facing multiple charges, including rape and assault.

In November, his case was been postponed as the state needed more time to consult with the witnesses and complainants.

On Monday, 11 December 2023, the Uyajola9/9 presenter's lawyer asked for documents regarding claims made against his client before court so they could have a look at them.

In July, the Uyajola 9/9 presenter was released on bail of R10 000. This after he handed himself over to the Brixton Police Station.

Some of his bail conditions included that he should not communicate with the victims or the complainants, or attempt to be in contact with them.
