RAPPER and businessman Cassper Nyovest knows and understands the music business and his latest move proves it.
The musician whose real name is Refiloe Phoolo just landed a financial campaign called Secure The Bag with Cassper Nyovest with a leading financial services organization.
The 32-year-old from Mahikeng in North West told Daily Sun that he will be sharing his journey as the founder of Family Tree with his fans and music supporters.
The campaign celebration will be held at Konka in Soweto on Saturday, 24 June. It will feature a panel of experts and musicians such as DJ Oskido, and DJ Zinhle.
Cassper will be the host of Secure the Bag which will go live on YouTube.
"Financial freedom means being able to pick projects, release dates, and collaborations you are most interested in and passionate about. It means being able to reinvest in your career, support the ones you love and always being ahead of potential lack of income without any drastic living adjustments," he said.
The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker said he was very fortunate to be selected as one of the campaign leaders.
"Honestly, I learned through a lot of mistakes, I’ve made a good amount and back to losing and being in a negative balance. But this is no secret as I’ve shared this through my music and social media," he said.
The musician said all his mistakes taught him to listen more, diversify and find contentment and gratitude in what he has been blessed with.
"Also learning from mistakes we’ve seen in the industry for so many years. This project was done by me and my manager. It's our brainchild so I was always going to be the host lol but jokes aside I’m glad Liberty sees the vision and importance of this initiative, with all the years of experience and FAs they have this is a stronger offering," he said.
