POPULAR nightclub Konka has announced that it will be closing down temporarily for a few months.
The owners of the IT Soweto club released a statement on their social media platforms on Tuesday, 20 June stating that they are renovating the club and will open it again in September.
The establishment that’s popularly known for its luxurious offering is officially closing all doors from next week Monday, 26 June.

“It's that time of the year where we have to temporarily close our doors to give 'The Big O' a fresh makeover. This allows us to always maintain the best premium day club experience for you, our amazing customers," the statement read.
This is the second time Konka is closing its doors. In December 2022, they closed down and reopened in February 2023.
