THE Big Brother Titans launch was phashash!

Reality shows are all about revealing people’s true colours and what they are all about.

This is what happened at the launch of Big Brother Titans as it was filled with lots of madness and intimate moments.

The reality show made its debut on Sunday, 15 January, and it was screened at Konka, Soweto.

Viewers got to see the housemates for the first time on screen.

This is the first of its kind as it is a combination of Big Brother Mzansi and Big Brother Naija under one roof.

The show is hosted by TV presenter Lawrence Maleka and Nigerian presenter Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

TV host and presenter Bonang Matheba was the MC of the evening at the event attended by local talent and influencers.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Bonang said she was happy to be the host as hosting big shows is her thing.

“I am also here to witness Africa’s greatness. As the launch is taking place, I am super-excited to see Africa’s most-loved characters on our small screens,” she said.

The presenter said she can’t wait to see what Mzansi and Nigeria will bring to Mzansi Magic.

Some of the housemates on Big Brother Titans include Khosi, Yemi Gregx from Nigeria, Jucy Jay, and many more new faces.

Bonang said people must watch out for more.

“Let’s just sit, relax and watch what the Big Brother family will be bringing this year. There will be more great moments, tears and pain,” she said.

Former Big Brother Mzansi Season 3 contestant, Thando “Acacia” Madi, told the SunTeam that this one looks exciting.

She said she wishes that she was in the house with the contestants of the current show.

“I am very jealous. I wish I was part of it as my personality will fit in with a mix of South Africa and Nigeria,” she said.

“My experience on the previous Big Brother Mzansi was amazing. I had an opportunity to learn about myself and other people’s personalities,” she said.

TV host and radio presenter Zanele Potelwa said she was excited about Big Brother Titans.

“You can tell that all the contestants were carefully selected for this show. I see super stars being born on this show,” she said.
