LIMPOPO’s biggest artist is ready to get her hands dirty.

Although it took her 18 years to finally build the business of her dreams, singer and dancer Pleasure Tsa Manyalo is now the owner of three major businesses.

She just launched her company called Pleasure Enterprises under which she opened a butchery, car wash and recording studio.

The Ke Lorile hitmaker whose name is Pleasure Peta (43) from Ga-Mphahlele in Limpopo told Daily Sun that she’s happy her dream has finally come true.

“Pleasure Enterprises is a car wash, butchery and recording studio. We cut meat and we also have a shisanyama. When I started, it was just the butchery and it was because there wasn’t a butchery here in Lebowakgomo, which is where we are based. I saw that as a business opportunity.

“Another reason is that I studied animal production at school, so I love it. This is why I decided to deal specifically with red meat because I know what happens in the red meat production. My experience was needed in my community so that they could also benefit,” she said.

However, reaching the goal wasn’t easy and that is why it took her 18 years.

“Saving towards this wasn’t easy, so I had to work extra to achieve this. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life working for someone. I wanted to make my own money and create jobs. There were a lot of challenges if you are working five days a week and then performing on weekends, that gets exhausting. Sometimes you just want to stop and not go anywhere. But I realised that I needed to work harder.

“Sometimes you need to use the money you’ve saved because problems come up. This is why it took me so long to get here. I had to work really hard. But I'm grateful that I am here because I believe it was God’s plan to eventually get her after 18 years,” Pleasure said.

The singer plans on getting into more business ventures in 2024.

“My wish for this year is to have a conference centre where people can come and have meetings there. I want to have a lodge with swimming pool facilities so that families can also visit, and kids can have fun while their parents are having meetings,” she said.
