LIMPOPO traditional wedding singer Pleasure Tsa Manyalo has partnered with Melly Music Records.

The 43-year-old artist told Daily Sun that it was important for her to join the record company to grow her music career after being independent since she started singing.

“In our Pedi language, we say two people can kill a snake, meaning that we can do more together,” she said.

Pleasure said she believes she can learn more from the record label and vice versa.

“I believe partnering with them will open doors that we’ve been struggling to open, and they will help Pleasure Tsa Manyalo go to the next level,” she said.

The record label owner, Nelly Music PR, said the superstar has been taking over the nation with her massive hit songs.

He said her traditional wedding songs are played in clubs, taverns and other social gatherings.

“This massive move by the legendary artist not only shows her experience and understanding of the music industry, but also understands the saying that no man is an island,” he said.

Nelly Music PR said they will work overtime to ensure the big brand becomes massive beyond Mzansi and Africa.

“We are looking forward to a fruitful working relationship, and may it bring joy and success for both brands,” he said.
