AFTER many years of enduring rain and winds under trees, the Ekushumayeleni villagers now have a decent place to hold their meetings. 

The community hall, named after Queen Phakela, was officially opened and handed over on Wednesday, 26 July at Ekushumayeleni Village in KwaCeza, northern KZN.

In 2022, the villagers had written to the Ulundi Local Municipality asking them for a community hall, and in less than a year, their request was answered.
