MOBI Dixon's assault case has been postponed until September.

The house DJ, whose real name is Mabi Ntuli from East London in the Eastern Cape, was allegedly assaulted by a guest house owner in May 2023.

On Wednesday, 16 August, the 35-year-old musician told Daily Sun that the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court postponed the matter to 20 September.

But the musician was not in court as he wasn't feeling well last week.

According to the public prosecutor, the case was postponed for further investigations and possible mediation.

When the DJ made a brief appearance in court on Wednesday, 19 July, the matter was postponed for further investigation.

Last Wednesday, 9 August, the NPA confirmed that the matter was postponed to 16 August and a warrant was held over for the accused. They said the musician was not in court.

Last month, Mobi Dixon's management said in a statement that he was harassed after his performance in Bloemfontein, Free State in May.

The musician allegedly opened a case of assault at the Park Road Police Station in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, 14 June.
