He said he had worried a lot, but they carried on with the music anyway.

"Marc was battling something I didn't know what it was. I hope you are recovering well, my big brother," Alex said.

The musician said his brother Marc changed his life after they made Quick Quick in the 90s. He said they became a good team until he died.

Naledi Ngcobo, Marc's daughter, told SunTeam that her father taught her a lot about life through his music and the relationship they had.

She said even though he was not well for a long time, they had good memories together.

"My dad was my hero. He was always there for me and supported me through my school years.

"There's so much I can say about him because he was a great dad to me who loved everyone and made sure we were all happy around him," she said.
