THE Drakensberg Extravaganza and Heritage Experience is back.

The 11-day festival, which aims to build social cohesion and remind people about their heritage, will be held in Bergville, KZN from 23 November to 3 December 2023.

The festival will feature art, culture, music and sport, with famous musicians such as Nasty C, Nathi Mankayi, Goldmax, Lwah Ndlunkulu and Big Zulu also gracing the event.

Event organiser Sipho Ndaba told Daily Sun: “Since its inception in 2017, the Drakensberg Extravaganza, a celebration of art, culture, music, sport and community has become a prominent feature on KZN’s annual events calendar.

“Festivities will commence with a two-day tourism summit and business fair at Bergville Sport Centre. On 24 November 2023, theatre enthusiasts will revel in a show performed by the Drakensberg Community Arts,” he said.
