THE organisers of Heavenly Harmonies Gospel Music Extravaganza are not done with gospel star, Betusile Mcinga.
Instead, they are passionately taking the fight to another level.
This time around, they're accusing Betusile of spreading lies about them. They also denied Betusile's allegations.
This denial comes after they allegedly chased him away from their event. Betusile's sin was to refuse to perform outside his scheduled time.
The incident happened on Friday, 29 September, at the Assemblies of God Convention Centre in Mthatha.
This drama angered Betusile's fans and supporters as they took to Facebook and demanded answers from the event organisers, but they were ignored.
Eventually, they responded and blasted the gospel musician.
"We have spent a great deal of time reflecting on the negative social media posts of Betusile Mcinga's management regarding our event. We may have taken even longer to respond than many would have thought or advised. But as we all know, social media spaces are not the easiest to navigate."
"Laying bare all the intricate details of the business transaction in question would require more than just a post. And also, this being an official business matter, it would be inappropriate for us to engage on it via social media platform as we do not want to be the ones destroying Betusile's brand," read their statement.
The organisers said they were committed to formally resolving the matter.

"Many inaccuracies have been stated. Facts have been misrepresented, and no slanderous word has been spared, with an obvious intent to tarnish our image. All this is really unfortunate. Please be reminded that there are at least two sides to every story," they said.
They said they would give a further explanation in five days.
"We wish to appeal to everyone concerned to respect that process and allow it to unfold. We completely understand that such processes can be long and tedious, but that is the nature of business," the statement read.
The organisers also apologised to their supporters.
"We are grateful to those who, out of concern, have contacted us and offered valuable advice," they said.
But Betusile was not moved by their explanation and accusations.
He told Daily Sun that he stood by his version.
"They can deny all they want but they know I'm telling the truth. I'm waiting to see what they have to say after this," he said.
