JOZI FM presenter Tshepo Junior Makgopa has been accused of assaulting his wife's friend, Rose Buthelezi.
Rose claims Tshepo assaulted her on Saturday, 27 January, when they were coming back from an outing.
She told Daily Sun that things unexpectedly spiraled out of hand, and Tshepo started attacking everyone.
"Tshepo, his wife, Tshego, usually have an outing with me and my partner, Prince, every year. So, we were out on Saturday. There was a bit of a fight at the venue we were in, which forced us to leave the venue. On our way back home, Tshepo and Tshego started fighting.
"When they got to their home, Tshepo got out of the car and started hitting Tshego. I stepped out to try and stop them. I was able to hide Tshego in the car. Tshepo started hitting me using his fists. When Prince came out to stop him, he beat Prince as well," she said.
Rose said she was still bruised from the attack.
"My head was injured, and it's still paining. My left arm was bruised. Something happened to my chest as well because I struggle when I breathe. I still have bruises still coming out to this day.

"We haven't spoken to him since the incident because he's nowhere to be found. We spoke to his wife, and she offered to give me money for a doctor to get some painkillers, but I declined her offer," Rose said.
When called for a comment, both Tshepo and Tshego Makgopa declined to comment, and Prince's phone rang unanswered when Daily Sun contacted him.
Rose opened a case against Tshepo, and police spokeswoman Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said the matter is being investigated.
"As per the case number provided, that is a common assault case opened for further investigation," she said.
Rose's brother, Themba Msibi, who was upset, said they tried asking Jozi FM to hold Tshepo accountable, but they weren't helped.
"We went to Jozi FM asking them to deal with the matter, but the station manager asked us not to report the case to the cops because they cannot afford to lose Tshepo. When we asked them to intervene and speak to him, they then said they don't want to be involved in the matter," Themba said.
Jozi FM's CEO, Mpho Mhlongo said they have placed Tshepo on special leave following the allegations against him.
"Please note that Jozi FM stands against any form of abuse against woman or children. The CEO has a taken a stand to place Tshepo Junior on a special leave until further notice," he said.
When asked about the claims that the family was asked not to open a case, Mpho said: "Bonginkosi is no way in a position to influence or advice the family on any action they wish to take."
