FORMER Sizokuthola presenter Xolani Khumalo will return to the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 21 November.

Khumalo, who is out on R20 000 bail, is facing charges of murder in the case involving a suspected drug dealer, Robert Varrie.

Robert "Kicks" Varrie (49) was declared dead after being interrogated during the filming of Sizokuthola in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, on Wednesday, 19 July.

He was later dropped off at the Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, and succumbed to injuries.

The state prosecutor told the court that police have completed taking statements, and the postmortem results have been submitted.

The case was adjourned until Tuesday, 21 November, pending a decision by the director of Public Prosecutions on whether the matter should be transferred to the High Court for trial.

Despite being sacked by Moja Love, Xolani is determined to continue fighting the problem of drug-related crime.

He has now teamed up with the Joburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) to continue the fight against drugs.

In this way, Xolani wants to ensure that the future of this nation is not in the hands of those who want to live a soft life at the expense of others.

But he said he can't do it alone until the government and the community take action against those behind the deadly drugs.

He believes it's essential to fix the justice system and bring drug dealers to justice.
