A MEMBER of hip hop duo Dreamteam, Saso Ngcobo, will provide the missing link to the Durban July.
Saso, who has been organising events in Durban like Spring Break, launched his marquee called Saso’s Brunch Marquee as part of this year's Durban July taking place on 6 July in Greyville.
The launch at Umhlanga, north of Durban, was attended by many celebrities like DJ Sox, actress Nombulelo Mhlongo and many more.
Saso told Daily Sun plans for the marquee have been in the pipeline for years and will be implemented this year.
“Something exciting, vibrant and colourful. I think we've been missing that. Not that Durban July hasn’t been great. It's always been great. It's one of the greatest events to happen in the city, let alone the country.
“It's our time to step in and show our expertise and what we can bring to the table trhough the marquee. We've been in the industry for a while, have done some of the events, music, and giving people experience they never had before,” he said.

“It's a big one, for the first time for our marquee and getting that spot is great.”
Dreamteam was formed in 2011 as a trio of Saso, Trey and Zulu Mkhathini.
Zulu Mkhathini left in 2018 for his solo project, and Saso and Trey became a duo.
