ZOE Bhozza has cleared the rumours after several reports surfaced about Makhadzi owing her.

The Joburg-based stylist, whose real name is Zoe Zungu, said it is Makhadzi's video director Fhumulani "Pretty Boy Zee" Nyamande, who allegedly owes her, not Makhadzi.

She said reporters twisted things so it could only be fit for them as she supplied them with everything they needed.

The 32-year-old told Daily Sun she styled Makhadzi for her music video in March.

The stylist from KwaThema in Ekurhuleni said Fhumulani Nyamande of Zee Films Production hired her. She told him her rates were R5 000 for two outfits and reduced her price to R2 700 after negotiations.

"The music video was shot during the week, and he promised to make payment on the weekend. But he made a lot of promises which he never kept," she said.

Zoe Bhozza said Pretty Boy Zee started ignoring her WhatsApp messages.

"He did not pick up my calls. I went to the person who plugged him. I wasn't the only person he owed money to," Zoe Bhozza said.

"I reached out, but he ignored me. I traced him on Facebook and got the same story when I inboxed him. He lied and said he was not working. But I found out that he was working for Makhadzi Entertainment," she said.

"I texted him, and again he lied and told me he would pay me after the Durban July weekend. He hasn't until now."

I've been texting and pleading with him, and he ignores me. When I threatened to expose him, he said I can go ahead because he hadn't been paid. But Makhadzi's manager told me a different story."

Pretty Boy Zee confirmed to the SunTeam that she knows Zoe Bhozza and they worked together this year.

"I know that I owe Zoe money. But what she did to Makhadzi wasn't good. The entire team is unhappy.

"I'm the one who owes her, not Makhadzi. I told her I would pay end of the month," he said.

Lucky Tshilimandila Makhadzi's manager shared proof of payment with our team, which clearly shows that Makhadzi paid Pretty Boy Zee an amount of R15 000 on June.

"It's not good because it tarnishes another person's name. It is really hard when you are trying to rebuild your brand, and you have people or journalists writing about you without verifying the facts or even contacting you for a comment."

"No, we will not do anything about the issue because Zoe has clarified the matter. I just have to make sure that Zee pays her in full," he said.
