DJ Tira confirmed the departure and said it is effective immediately.

DJ Tira has parted ways with his right-hand man Senzo "Msenzisto" Shezi.

Senzo was a manager at Tira's record label, Afrotainment and they worked together for years.

Tira announced that Senzo was fired after he was involved in misuse of company resources.

In the statement shared on Instagram, DJ Tira confirmed the departure and said it is effective immediately.

“Following internal investigations, it has come to our attention that Mr Senzo Shezi has engaged in behaviour that is inconsistent with the standards and values of Afrotainment.

“At Afrotainment, we prioritise transparency, integrity, and respect in all our business practices. The behaviour exhibited by this employee is not reflective of the values that uphold. As a result, the decision has been made to part ways with him,” said Afrotainment.

The statement further said they want to reassure their clients, partners, and partners that they're committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

“We will take all necessary steps to rectify any issues that may have risen as a result of Mr Senzo Shezi's actions.

“His departure will not affect the quality of delivery of our services. We remain dedicated to serving our clients with the same level of excellence and commitment that they have come to expect from us.

“We appreciate the support and understanding of our clients and the public during this difficult time. We are confident that this decision is in the best interest of our company and its stakeholders,” said Afrotainment.

Despite the announcement, Senzo denied that he was dismissed.

“I don’t know what you are talking about and I’m in the rural areas. My network is bad. I haven't heard that I've been fired, but I will check." he said.
