STREAMING platform Disney Plus brought out some of Mzansi’s favourite content creators on Wednesday, 19 April.

Disney held a watch party for the last episode of the series, The Mandalorian on Wednesday night, 19 April in Rosebank.

The semi-formal themed doo saw the attendance of content creators, YouTubers, actors, reality TV stars and influencers such as Mihlali Ndamase, Zola Mhlongo, Sphokuhle N, Libo Geza, Juicy Jay, Zille Wizzy Bongani Baloyi come out to play.

At the event, the final episode of the third season was being shown.

The Mandalorian is the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise and it is a continuation of the popular 1983 film, Return of the Jedi.

Speaking to Daily Sun about the screening party, Christine Service, senior vice-president and general manager of The Walt Disney Company Africa, said they were happy to see some of the country's best entertainers joining them.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the finale of Star Wars, The Mandalorian’s season 3 with all our South African stars and Disney Plus fans.

All seasons of the award-winning show are now streaming on Disney Plus,” she said.
