COMEDIAN and actor Tumi "Stopnonsons" Matila's assault case has been postponed again.
The 31-year-old made a brief appearance in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Thursday, 12 October. His case was postponed to 8 November.
The state prosecutor said the reason for the postponement was that they still wanted to do further investigations into this matter. Another reason was that the investigating officer has died.
Stopnonsons was arrested by the Honeydew police on Tuesday, 7 August. He allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Thando Ngemane and her friend Tsholofelo Kgosimotho.

In August, the Joburg-based comedian was released on R2 000 bail. He was then released because both complainants did not oppose his bail.
The state prosecutor said his bail conditions still stand, adding he that he wasn't supposed to be in contact with the complainants or communicate with them. She said the comedian was also not allowed to be seen around their workplaces or homes.
He is also not allowed to reach out to them via social media platforms or harass them in any form.
If the comedian is found to have broken these rules, he will be taken back to jail and his bail conditions will be revoked again.
The comedian was also served with a protection order from the complainants, his girlfriend Thando and her friend.
