AKA's murder case was postponed to Thursday, 14 March, for bail application.
Five suspects, Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi (30), Lindani Ndimade (35), Siyanda Myeza (22), Mziwethemba Gwabeni (36), and Lindokuhle Ndimande (29), accused of killing AKA and Tibz made a brief, appearance in the Durban Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 6 March.
The five face 10 charges, including two counts of murder, five counts of murder, five counts of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, possession of unlawful firearms and possession of unlawful ammunition.
The state added two charges of money laundering.
The state also applied that new suspects are not kept in custody at Chatsworth Police Station but be kept in Westville Prison.
The court also announced that when the case is back on 14 March, it'll be at Court 10, which is bigger than Court 11.

Accused number 2, Lindokuhle Ndimande, and accused number 4, Mziwethemba Gwabeni, are taxi bosses.
The lawyer for accused 2 and 4 Sizwe Cele of Sizwe Cele Attorneys said his clients won't plead guilty.
“The matter is still in court. I can't comment further because it's going to compromise the process.
“The SAPS is not playing the open card with us. Our clients are businesspeople, and own fleets of vehicles. Yes, they're taxi bosses. Their link to murder is an allegation that needs to be proven,” he said.
AKA’s father, Tony Forbes, Police Minister Bheki Cele and KZN Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi were not in court as they attended the first appearance of the suspects.
AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes, and his friend Tebello Motsoane were gunned down at The Wish on Florida restaurant premises in Durban on 10 February 2023.
