FIVE suspects accused of AKA and Tibz murder Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi (30), Lindelani Ndimade (30), Siyanda Myeza (22), Mziwethemba Gwabeni (36) and Lindokuhle Ndimande (29) will appear in the Durban Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 6 March.
The five accused first appearance was on Thursday, 29 February, when they appeared wearing masks hiding their faces, but the court ruled that they should show their faces.
During their first appearance AKA’s father, Tony Forbes, Police Minister Bheki Cele and KZN Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi attended the case.
On Wednesday, 6 March, they will appear for bail application when the investigative officers brief the court about their address verifications.
The dates 6 March, 14 March, 18 and 19 March, and 27 March have been set for bail applications for the suspects.

On Monday, 26 February, police confirmed that they had arrested six suspects in connection with AKA murder and on Tuesday, 27 February, police also confirmed that they had arrested the seventh one.
Two murder suspects, Siyabonga and Melusi Ndimande, were arrested while hiding in Eswatini, and they appeared in Manzini Magistrates Court in Eswatini for extradition application on Tuesday, 5 March.
Because South Africa has not filed the comprehensive extradition application, the extradition application was postponed to Tuesday, 12 March.
The Ndimande brothers were remanded in custody in Eswatini.
When their extradition application is granted, they will be back in South Africa to face the AKA murder chargers with the other five suspects.
AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes, and his friend Tebello Motsoane were gunned down at The Wish on Florida restaurant premises in Durban on 10 February 2023.
