THIS week on Umjolo and Sex, host Lerato is joined by Khumo Masege to talk about some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding the LGBTQIA+ community.

Khumo is a Licensed Therapist, certified Holistic Sex Educator and diversity/Mental Wellness consultant who aims to help individuals explore their self-worth, confidence and joy.

Currently, Mzansi is the only African country that legalises same-sex marriages. Although strides have been made to protect LGBTQIA+ people, a lot still needs to be done in terms of the legal framework.

Khumo says that whenever we're debunking myths surrounding the community, we're usually debunking some of the Heteronormative ideas that exist.
